A close second to this, (and much funnier, IMO,) is the whole "Yo Mama" song and dance. my Roommate came into the Living Room the other day and exclaimed; "I need to get something that is cheap and a lot of it". I replied "how about Yo Mama?"

Why are so many JWs hicks?
by kristyann inokay, i know this might sound like an obvious question... but in all reality, why are so many jehovah's witnesses hicks?
why does it seem that there are so many in rural areas?
i hope this doesn't offend anyone... i don't really mean it to be an insult to any of you, cause obviously i consider most of you a lot smarter than some regular jw (or some stereotypical hick).

I think this would be the worst way to die. Can you imagine what it must feel like to have a cold mouth full of daggers with strength like a Mack Truck close down on you? I used to think tht death by mauling by a grizzly bear would be the worst and most terrifying way to go, but thinking about being in the open water with death coming from below compounded by the fact that you can't see your attacker until it's too late.......ugh.

After 15 years out, I suppose you could say that my anger and resentment has mutated into compassion for those that are still recklessly blindsided. It, to this day, never ceases to amaze me that some individuals who appear to be smart and who have their shit together, could hold so much tenet to ideals which hold fast to rediculous ideals like a Paradisaic Earth in which predatory animals like lions could eat straw. ( Just for example.)I feel only pity now for folks who have wasted so much time, energy, and intellect on fairy tales. I can't express enough how much my life and outlook on life have changed for the better over the years. I have better friends, make better money, am a hell of a lot smarter, and have much better overall health both mentally and physically. I apologize if I ramble I have had a few cocktails.
